1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the website to remember information about your visit (for example, a successful security verification) so that it functions correctly and securely.
2. Which cookies we use
The praetorix.pro website is built on a privacy-by-design approach. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks. We use only the following strictly necessary files:
| Name | Purpose | Validity period | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
phuman |
Confirms that the visitor has successfully passed the security gate (the "I am human" verification). Protects the website against automated access and misuse. It contains the expiry time, a network identifier (IPv4 /24, IPv6 /64) and a fingerprint of the browser header; the whole value is signed and therefore cannot be altered. It is set only after successful verification — it is not stored while you browse the publicly accessible pages. | 2 hours | Strictly necessary |
px_cookie_consent |
Stores the information that you have acknowledged the use of cookies, so that the information bar is not displayed repeatedly. It is not a cookie — it is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to the server. It is written only after you click the I understand button; nothing is stored before that. | persistent (until deleted) | Strictly necessary |
The phuman file is set with the HttpOnly attribute (not readable by scripts), Secure (transmitted over HTTPS only), SameSite=Lax and path=/. Apart from these two items the website stores nothing else in your browser — no sessionStorage, no further cookies and no third-party files.
3. Third-party cookies
The website does not use third-party cookies, social plugins, or embedded content that would store tracking files. Links to external websites (e.g. to the supervisory authority) open separately and are governed by their own policies.
Our own measurement of traffic and advertising performance also works without cookies — it stores no cookies and no data in your browser's local storage. For details see Article 9 of the Privacy Policy.
4. How to manage cookies
You can restrict or disable the use of cookies at any time in your browser settings, or delete any files already stored. Please note that if you block the strictly necessary phuman file, it may not be possible to pass the security gate and view the content of the website.
